Castelluzzo is a quiet characteristic location surrounded by the olive trees placed between the 2 nature riserves of the "Zingaro" and the "Monte Cofano". It's only 5 minutes far from San Vito Lo Capo, this makes it the best logistical point to reach the best beaches of the whole area, especially "Baia Santa Margherita" beach with its wonderful bays very close to the village. The sorrounding area offers many possible excursions, from the seaward nature reserves (mentioned before) to the area's most famous cultural destinations among which we suggest Erice (19km far), Segesta (40km far), Scopello(28km far) and the Egadi islands. Castelluzzo is easily reachable thanks to its proximity to the Trapani's(30 minutes far) and Palermo's(50 minutes far) airports, Trapani and Palermo are both wonderful historical cities that can be visited within a day's time. Thanks to its long good-weather season, even during Autumn and Spring , it's a very popular area which has become famous for it's events (it's impossible to miss the "Cous Cous Fest" that take place every year at the end of September), it is also the perfect place for trekking's and climbing's lovers.
